Introduction

I am a highly skilled, dedicated, and compassionate practice nurse with over 15 years of experience in primary care working in general practice. I qualified as a registered nurse in 2004, as a midwife in 2008, and in advanced clinical practice at Masters Degree level in 2024. My expertise is within my current clinical role as a practice nurse in which I am adept in the management of chronic disease, women's health, and preventative care.

Recognised for my empathic and patient-centered approach I have a proven track record in delivering exceptional care for complex health needs. My key areas of expertise include managing and monitoring type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, COPD, asthma, chronic kidney disease, and hypertension, offering lifestyle counselling, optimising treatment adherence, and following up on progress to achieve improved health outcomes. 

I am passionate about guiding women through life stages with evidence-based recommendations and empowering choices, possessing expertise in contraception counselling, menopause management, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). I am proficient in conducting cervical screenings, routine health checks, and immunisations, with a strong commitment to proactive and preventive healthcare.

I possess advanced qualifications as an Independent Prescriber creating tailored treatment plans and promoting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical treatments in complex cases.

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
